Frequently asked questions
How do I enable location tracking?
Open Profile → Location & alerts → Location tracking, and allow location access when prompted. Choose "While Using the App" for basic features, or enable Background visits for check-ins while the app is closed.
Why am I not getting proximity notifications?
Make sure Proximity notifications are enabled in Profile → Location & alerts, and that notifications are allowed for WanderQuest in your device settings. Location access must also be granted.
How do check-ins and points work?
Visit places on your trip list and check in when you arrive. You'll earn points toward your level and unlock badges as you explore. Progress is shown on your trip and Rewards screens.
How do I delete my account and data?
Email us at info+wander@studio3dx.com from the address linked to your account and request deletion. We will process your request in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
The app shows wrong distances or map data.
Distances depend on your device's location and map data from third-party providers. Try refreshing your location, checking your connection, and ensuring location permissions are enabled.
